Fuerteventura's Alert Level Increased to Level Two.

This morning the ministry of health agreed to the increase in the alert level on the island of Fuerteventura whilst the other islands remain the same.

Due to increases in new cases and hospital admissions, the health ministry has decided that further measures are necessary for Fuerteventura and have decided to increase the alert level.

Fuerteventura currently has the highest seven-day incidence rate being at 77.00, and for 14 days it is at 148.86, which is higher than both Gran Canaria and Tenerife.

Therefore from tomorrow, the island will see it's new alert level implemented through to March 18th, which, as usual, will be subject to periodic reviews.
