AEMET Has Issued a Yellow Alert for Tomorrow on all Islands Except Lanzarote.

From tomorrow Thursday 4th February AEMET have issued a yellow warning for all Islands except for Lanzarote, due to a weather front moving in from the northwest.

This is front is likely to bring rain, winds and stormy conditions, with gusts up to 70km/h in the south, potentially worse in the north and temperature drops of 7-10ºc. As I am writing this I can already hear the wind starting to pick up.

Further to this, they have said that there is a likelihood of snow forming above 1600m altitude - so we may see another snow-capped Teide in the coming days.

They go on to say that the instability should ease by the weekend with yellow alerts across the islands, especially in the northern parts, on Friday.
