Just Like That, Hopes Taken Away from Restriction Levels Being Reduced.

Scientific advisors to the Canarian Government insist restrictions should remain in place for a few more days to prevent further infections during the carnival period.

The committee's spokesman, Professor of Public Health Lluis Serra, has said that no formal meeting has occurred, but the carnival situation has been commented on.

They believe maintaining the curfew for a few more days would prevent organised private parties for carnival and thereby reducing the risk of virus transmissions. If the restrictions are to be reduced from Monday the possibility of greater virus transmissions increases due to social activities and private parties.

Although the islands have been showing a positive trend in recent weeks, prompting discussion about reducing the restriction levels, it could be that delaying the reduction could be more beneficial to us all in the long run.
